Sample Shop Roofing (DEMO)

4 big things 3 small stuff 5 working well

This is a SAMPLE report with fictional findings so you can see the format. It is not about a real company. These four problems are the ones we see most often on local trade sites: a phone you cannot tap, a form that never arrives, dead links, and content that has not been touched in years.

The big things
EXAMPLE · Estimate form · no delivery (demo only)

01

Contact form submissions never arrive

The form looks fine and says thank you, but messages never hit the inbox. Leads disappear without a bounce or error the visitor can see.

We would fix delivery, add a backup notify, and test a real submit end to end.

02

Phone number not tappable where it counts

On Contact and in the footer, the number shows as plain text. A homeowner on a phone cannot tap to dial. That is often the highest-intent visitor you get.

We would make every number a real call link, including the homepage.

03

Outdated content makes the shop look closed

The footer still says 2019 and hours have not been updated. Even when the work is solid, the site reads like nobody is home.

We would refresh year, hours, and stale copy, and set the year to update automatically.

Dead links in the main navigation

Key service links (for example metal roofing) land on a 404. Homeowners who were ready to hire hit a dead end instead of a path to an estimate.

We would crawl the site, fix or remove every dead link, and set a watch so new ones get caught.
